Ride your bike up a mountain such as those in the Tour de France or even "ride" Mt. Everest?

How about surviving the heat and humidity as you try to make your way back to civilization on an island that you are not familiar with?

Or, wanting to try a Time Trial to see how fast you can ride?

What about just wanting to try a new adventure with the Spinning program?
Each month, Wild Yamz Fitness Studio hosts a Spinning program special event that will take your regular Spinning program routine to a new level!
Some of our recent events include:

The Go Vertical! Challenge (an exhilarating ride that takes you up Mt. Everest)

The Go Tropical! Challenge (rides on different tropical islands that include finding our way back to civilization to testing your mettle in the "Survivor" type obstacle course).
Each event is approximately a two hour ride. A few events will have you doing things off the bike as well during the event. An example is our obstacle course during our summer Go Tropical Series.
You do need to have a good, solid fitness base for these types of rides. Although not required, a minimum of 4-6 weeks of the Spinning program is advisable. This will ensure that you have a strong foundation of the basic fundamental moves of Spinning as well as your body (especially your butt and legs) adapting to riding a Spinner® bike.
Although not mandatory, a heart rate monitor is very useful. This will help you gauge your heart rate as you ride to determine if you are going too hard or not pushing yourself hard enough.
The Spinning instructors at Wild Yamz are constantly coming up with new ideas for the Spinning events so that each event you ride is a bit different from the last one. This will ensure that it won't be the same ride over and over again.
